Prices for Russian gas on the German border have reached a maximum for the last seven years — $5.88 per million British thermal units, which is almost 50% more than in September last year, Bloomberg reports, citing the data from the IMF.

According to a study titled “Assessing business environment in Russia by foreign business”, conducted jointly by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (the RSPP) and FleishmanHillard Vanguard, the number of respondents who indicate positive dynamics of a business climate in Russia, has increased almost fourfold and accounted to 23% in 2016 (compared to 6% in 2015).
New hydropower plant to be built in Ukraine within six years

Ukraine is likely to get its another hydropower plant, Regnum reports on Monday citing Ukrainian media. According to the Energy Ministry of Ukraine, new Kakhovka HPP-2 will cost 13.47 million hryvna, that is approximately 30 million rubles.
Afghanistan asks Russia to restore Soviet objects

Kabul addressed Moscow with a request to participate in the restoration of 124 objects in Afghanistan in exchange for support for Russian business, Izvestia newspaper reports on Monday with reference to the attache at Afghan Embassy in Moscow, Mohammad Qasem.
