80% of families in Latvia cannot afford to buy housing
This statement was made by Latvian Minister of Economy Arvils Aseradens. According to him, the rapidly growing demand for housing, as well as a weak purchasing power represent serious problems that limit the affordability of real estate in Latvian regions.
Sales of new housing in Israel are slowing down
According to a study published by the Central Bureau of Statistics, sales of new properties in the period from May 2017 to April 2018 have decreased by 19.2% compared to the period of May 2016-April 2017, Globes reports.

Ministers from Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay and Peru met on June 15 in Lima to agree on the creation of a single regulatory framework for a project envisaging the construction of the bi-oceanic railway. The Russian Railways has also shown its interest in the project.
