The government of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan discussed with representatives of Italian company Pizzarotti I. E. the cooperation in construction of a road bridge across the Kama River.
As Construction.RU was told today by the press office of the regional administration, the new road will run from the M-7 “Volga” near the town of Mamadysh to the village of Sokolki and then to the opposite bank of the river.
Then, the route will extend south of Tatarstan, bypassing Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnye Chelny, and it will relieve the dam of the Nizhnekamsk hydroelectric station.
The Italian partners have already presented a preliminary layout of the developed route. The project will be implemented within the public and private partnership. The first phase including a section with the length of 14 km will cost 21.4 billion rubles.
