Moscow begins testing of a serial electric bus Linkker, provided by a public transport operator of Helsinki, Finland.

As Construction.RU was told today by the general director of Mosgortrans state unitary enterprise, Yevgeny Mikhailov, the model has a 50-kilometer operating range and provides quick charging for 4-10 minutes during stops. It has a low floor level, climate control and it is capable to accommodate up to 77 passengers.

Testing of this sample will last for a month. Its peculiarity is the concept of fast distributed charges along the route (at special stations and from the contact network) in combination with small batteries.

The vehicle enables the efficient use of electricity and contributes to a significant reduction in the size, weight and cost of batteries, which are mounted on the bus.
