The extension of the regime of priority development territories in four municipalities of the Kamchatka Peninsula will allow to implement investment projects totaling over 13 billion rubles ($230 million), the Governor of the Kamchatka region, Vladimir Ilyukhin, announced.
The issue of expanding the boundaries of “Kamchatka” priority development territory was discussed at a meeting held on the Peninsula and chaired by Deputy Prime Minister – Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev.
“Today we have applications from four more regions. These are the Penzhinsky, Karaginsky, Bystrinsky and Sobolevsky regions, which have a capacity for the implementation of projects totaling over 13 billion rubles. Of course, we are interested in these territories beginning to operate within “Kamchatka” priority development territory,” – Ilyukhin noted.
