Construction of the Leroy Merlin store selling home improvement goods has been launched in the Russian city of Perm. The facility will be located on the site of a former Hippodrome.
At present, the plot of land is fenced, the preparatory work is underway, according to Business Class. The construction activities are scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2017.
In the beginning of the year, Leonid Morozov, who held a post of the Economic Development Minister of the Perm region, met with top managers of the French company Leroy Merlin.
The parties discussed the implementation of investment projects and strategic plans of the investor in the Perm region. In the result of implementation of Leroy Merlin projects the Kama River area, total investments in the region’s economy might reach more than 4-5 billion rubles.
