Hungary has completed the construction of the second fence preventing migrants from entering the country’s territory along the border with Serbia, Reuters reports, citing Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

Mr. Orban specified that the fence reached 155 kilometers in length and three meters in height. He added that the fence was capable to stop any number of people.

In addition, the Prime Minister added that the EU should be less critical towards Turkey since the Union depends on the cooperation with Ankara on the issue of migrants.

“We should not treat Turkey as if it is not an ally, we must express the due respect to the Turkish people and their President,” – Orban noted.

Earlier, the Prime Minister of Hungary reported that the fence would be completed by the end of May.
