Russian company fined for building roads from construction waste

The Ecology and Nature Management Ministry of the Moscow region, Russia, has brought to administrative responsibility a company, which was building a road from Tuchkovo – Zvenigorod highway to a quarry near the village of Kryukovo with the use of construction waste and soils, the Ministry’s press office told Construction.RU on Thursday.




“For violation of environmental legislation, the Ecology Ministry has fined JSC Avtobaza Il'inskoye for 122,000 rubles,” – the message quotes Minister of Ecology and Nature Management of the Moscow region, Alexander Kogan.

He specified that the construction waste belonged to the fourth class of hazard, and the soils to the fifth class. Their usage in the road construction was not provided by the project.
