A copy of the Great Wall of China has been built in the country. A four-kilometer-long building appeared in Jiangxi province of China, DKNews reports on Friday.

The structure, like the original one, was erected on the hills. In addition, developers have recreated sections of the Great Wall separated by towers. Construction of a copy of the largest architectural monument cost about 4 million yuan (that is approximately $560,000).

“This is not the first copy of an architectural monument built in China. In December 2016, a copy of “Titanic” in full size was laid, a few months earlier, an exact copy of Venice appeared in Liaoning province”, – the statement reads.

Construction of the Great Wall began in the III century BC and was completed in 1644. This is the largest monument of architecture, which length is almost 9,000 kilometers. The structure is listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO.
