Negotiations between the Russian Federation and Turkey over the supply of S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems are at the “mature” stage, but the countries need to settle issues connected with the price of the complexes, Reuters reports with the reference to Minister of Defense of Turkey, Fikri Ichika.
In April, the head of the Turkish military department announced that the parties were discussing a possibility of the establishing of the joint production of these systems.
As a reference, S-400 anti-aircraft missile system is designed to hit aircrafts of tactical and strategic aviation, ballistic missiles, hypersonic targets and other means of air attack under the conditions of radio-electronic and other types of resistance.
