Paged Sklejka, a Polish company, intends to build its first plywood manufacture in Russia, which is planned to be located in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
As Construction.RU was told today by the press office of the regional government, the investor will place 2,1 billion rubles ($36 million) in the project.
The corresponding agreement was signed by the region’s governor Valery Shantsev and the company’s Director General Arkadiusz Teclaw over the course of an official visit of the governmental delegation to Germany on Wednesday.
The company has already selected a plot of land in the town of Semyonovsky for the plant construction. The project is expected to be implemented over the course of three years.
Some 200 new jobs will be created at the enterprise.
