French business traditionally takes an active part in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), and this year, its mission will not be reduced, Russian Trade Representative in France, Alexander Turov, noted.
“French business traditionally takes an active part in the St. Petersburg forum, this is a very significant international event with the participation of heads of states and governments, which opens up opportunities for a direct dialogue with the authorities, discussion of the most important projects, problems that are really global in nature,” Turov said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
He noted that the largest French companies traditionally involved in SPIEF would come to St. Petersburg this year again.
“Now we are discussing the participation of management of the giants of French business. I think the representation in this area will not be worse than a year ago”, - the trade representative added.
