President Vladimir Putin approved the strategy of economic security of Russia for the period until year 2030, the corresponding decree was published on the official website of legal information.
The strategy aims to prevent crises in the resource, industrial, scientific, technological and financial spheres, as well as to prevent the reduction in Russian citizens’ quality of life. In addition, it provides for the improvement of a countermeasure mechanism in case of Western sanctions.
“The government of the Russian Federation is assigned to develop within a 3-month period the measures of organizational, regulatory and methodological nature, necessary for the implementation of the economic security strategy of the Russian Federation for the period until 2030, and to ensure their realization,” – the document reads.
Earlier it was reported that the strategy was developed as a countermeasure to new challenges and threats to national interests of the country.
