Chinese, Arab investors take part in $1,5bn airport development

A consortium of investors comprising the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), the Russia-Chinese Investment Fund (RCIF created by RDIF and Chinese CIC), Middle Eastern Investment Funds and VI Holding company owned by Vitaly Meshchitsky will invest more than 90 billion roubles ($1,5 billion) in a project for the development of the territory of a former “Tushino” airdrome in Moscow.




The project involves construction of real estate objects with a total area of more than 1 million sqm. It will include housing for 15,000 people, an office park of A category, as well as the sports infrastructure facilities. The anchor tenant of offices in Tushino will be Rostec state corporation.

An agreement on the project implementation was signed on Saturday on the sidelines of the One Belt, One Road forum in China, the consortium informs.
