The Moscow government plans to allocate 409 billion rubles ($7,2 billion) for the construction of roads until year 2020, the head of Russia’s capital city’s Construction Department, Andrey Bochkarev, told reporters on Tuesday.
“In the next two and a half years, i.e. until the end of 2019, we will have to reconstruct and build 276 km of roads, about 70 tunnels, overpasses and other transportation structures, as well as 46 pedestrian crossings”, - Bochkarev noted.
According to him, for these purposes, the targeted investment program envisages allocation of 409 billion rubles from the city budget.
“Transport and road construction remains one of the priorities in the activities of Moscow construction sector”, - Bochkarev added.
