More than 180,000 people have become participants of the savings and mortgage system of housing for military personnel, the head of the Housing Department at the Russian Defense Ministry Sergey Pirogov announced.
“Since 2012, the number of military participants of the savings and mortgage system has increased more than twofold, and by the 1st of April 2017, amounted to over 180,700 people. Thus, during this period, the number of its participants in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation has surged by 95,100 people”, - Sergey Pirogov told reporters.
He stressed that almost half of the system’s participants had made a choice in favor of this method of obtaining housing.
