Russian Export has agreed to establish the Russian National Pavilion on the Chinese trading platform Alibaba, the company’s owner and a son of the Russian Prosecutor General, Igor Chaika, told Rambler News on Wednesday.
Igor Chaika added that the launch of the project was expected in early September.
“The pavilion will operate in the B2B sector. The products presented in the pavilion would not be confined to food,” the businessman specified.
Igor Chaika is the head of the Board of Directors of Russian Export and FRC International Trading ltd. In February, the businessman told the media that the FRC International Trading started flour exports from Russia to China. According to the forecast of Mr. Chaika, by May, the turnover of the FRS International Trading is expected to reach $5 million.
