An agreement on the creation of a joint Russian-Turkish Investment Fund will be signed in the coming days, the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Nabi Avci told reporters on Monday.
“The document will be signed in a few days”, - the Minister said at an international media forum in Antalya.
Earlier media reported that the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and the Sovereign Fund of Turkey intended to set up a joint investment fund with an amount of $1billion. It is expected that each of the parties will contribute $500 million in the project.
The Investment Fund will promote cooperation between Russia and Turkey in various fields: construction, energy, agriculture, tourism, etc. In particular, the matter concerns the implementation of construction projects in Turkey, Russia and third countries.
