The first multi-storey building with the conversion of electrical energy into a thermal one will be built in Belarus in 2018, Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Kalinin said on Monday at the opening of an energy efficient residential building of the second generation in Grodno.
“This year, it is planned to implement a pilot project for the construction of apartment houses with an autonomous system of converting electric power into a thermal one for the building’s heating and hot water supply. We are going to start building the first such houses in large amount next year”, the press office of the government quotes Anatoly Kalinin.
According to him, each region will have at least two or three such facilities where tenants can adjust heat and electric energy directly at the apartment.
