The largest metro tunnel in Moscow to be built in 2019 at a line from Solntsevo station to Vidnoe station, the head of the city’s Construction Department, Andrey Bochkarev, told Interfax news agency on Wednesday.
“At present, the second section of Solntsevo – Butovo – Vidnoe metro line is being designed. Five tunnels, one overhead road and two pedestrian undercrossing will appear there. By the way, the city’s largest tunnel is planned to be built at this section – beneath Kaluzhskoye highway. Its width will be about 100 meters,” Bochkarev said.
He noted that the tunnel section will consist of three combines sections with a width of 70 meters, through which transport flows will go in both directions.
