RDC Aqualines, a company from the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod, continues to develop a ground effect vehicle that combine the quality of marine transport and aircraft.




The company is planning to release a line of passenger and cargo ground effect vehicles designed for 2, 15, 50, 150 and 300 passengers. Currently, its technicians are already working on the creation of 15-seat civil ground effect vehicles for customers from Estonia, EP-15, according to flotprom.ru.

The designers from Nizhny Novgorod stake on a 15-seat version of a medium-range cargo and passenger ground effect vehicle EP-15 that will operate at distances of up to 1000 kilometers.

These vehicles will be equipped with engines of Chevrolet LSX454 with a capacity of 620 horsepower. The planned length of the wig is 16.5 meters, the width is 10 meters and the height amounts to four meters.
