Entrepreneurs from South Korea plan to invest 11 billion rubles (approximately $195 million) in construction of a regional hospital in Kamchatka Peninsula located in the Russian Far East.
As Construction.RU was told today by the press office of the Russian Ministry of the Far East Development, these plans had been unveiled by South Korean Special Presidential Envoy Song Young-gil at a meeting with the Ministry’s head, Alexander Galushka.
The investment will be allocated not only to the construction of the building, but also to supplying the hospital with a modern high-tech medical equipment.
We should remind you that the Kamchatka regional authorities planned to launch the hospital’s construction as early as 2009. However, the works started with five years’ delay.
