A ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of the Ice Arena was held in the city of Novomoskovsk located in the Tula region, Russia, the press office of the regional government reports on Monday.




The new facility is intended to become a place for hockey and figure skating training.

“Today a great occasion occurred in the sporting life and of Novomoskovsk and the Tula region in the whole – we are launching the construction of a training Ice Arena. Let the future Ice Arena become the center of sports movement for children and adults, for amateurs and professionals. I’m sure, it will help to strengthen the best traditions of Russian hockey and figure skating”, the report cites Governor of the Tula region, Alexey Dyumin.
