This afternoon, a strong explosion occurred in the territory of a steel reinforcing mill located on Dostoyevsky Street, in the Russian city of Kurgan.
As Construction.RU was told by the press office of the Emergencies Ministry of Russia, immediately after that, a fire started at the enterprise.
After receiving a signal about ignition, several fire brigades with special equipment arrived at the place of emergency. Upon arrival at the plant, they immediately began to extinguish the fire.
According to preliminary data, as the result of the explosion, two workers died on the spot from the serious injuries before the arrival of paramedics. The cause of the explosion and other circumstances of the tragedy are being investigated.
