Saudi Fund to enter project for development of former airfield near Moscow

Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia intends to enter a project for the development of a former Tushino airfield located in northwest Moscow, Russia, the press office of Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) reports on Wednesday.




On Tuesday, RDIF and PIF announced the intensification of their interaction for the purpose of revealing and implementing of perspective investment opportunities in Russia, within the investment partnership established in 2015.

“In development of cooperation, PIF has signed an agreement of intention to enter a consortium of investors implementing a project of the integrated development of the territory of a former Tushino airfield in northwest Moscow,” the message reads.

The agreement was signed within the framework of Russian-Saudi negotiations held over the course of a visit of the deputy crown prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud to Russia.
