By the end of the year, a plant producing rail type mounting is scheduled to be built in the Russian port city of Engels located in the Saratov region.
As Construction.RU was told by the press office of the regional administration, over 500 million rubles ($8,8 million) are planned to be invested in construction activities at the site and equipment of the enterprise.
This will be a joint Russian-German production enterprise JSC Vossloh Fastening Systems Rus.
As soon as the plant reaches its design capacity production, it will release up to 9,5 million items of production per year.
As a reference, Engels is an industrial city, including manufactures of trolleybuses and rolling stocks for railways.
