Saudi Arabia shows interest in potential participation in oil and chemical projects of PJSC SIBUR Holding, a Russian gas processing and petrochemicals company headquartered in Moscow.
This is what one of the company’s main shareholders, Leonid Mikhelson, told reporters on Monday.
“There is an interested to SIBUR as one of world’s major petrochemicals companies. Delegates from Saudi Arabia have familiarized themselves with SIBUR’s projects,” he said.
According to Mr. Mikhelson, together with Saudi Arabia they are planning to consider a joint project for the production of rubber substance, approximately the same as SIBUR and Reliance are implementing jointly in India.
Apart from that, he said that the company has also offered Novatek to take part in its projects.
