AvtoVAZ, a Russian car-maker, may consider the project of production of flying vehicles jointly with Rostec and sees a potential in such developments, the company’s president, Nicolas Moore, said in an interview with Rambler News on Monday.
“We have a great opportunity to produce these machines because our shareholder is Rostec – this may provide a potential for the future. We could consider this kind of project together with Rostec, but it will happen not earlier than in 20 years”, - Nicolas Moore said.
In May, the Japanese car-maker Toyota announced that it was investing 40 million yen ($353 million) in a project to create a flying car. By the end of 2018, the company plans to develop a manned prototype, and the car is expected to appear in the market by the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020.
