Northern Cement, a Chinese company, has got interested in construction of a cement plant in the Amur region, Russia, on one of the sites of the Chagoyansky limestone deposit.
As Construction.RU was told by the press office of the government of the Amur region, a delegation of the Chinese company has conducted negotiation with officials from the Russian Ministry of Nature, the Economic Development Ministry, the Ministry of External Economic Relations and the Department for Subsurface Resources Management.
At present, one of the sites of the Chagoyansky limestone deposit, Sivaglinsky, is license-free and is owned by the state. This is where the Chinese company offers to build a plant.
The regional authorities believe that a project for the plant construction is likely to enter the advanced development area and receive regional tax benefits.
