YIT, a Finnish building corporation headquartered in Helsinki, has started construction of a large housing estate in Rostov-on-Don, a city in southern Russia. The project is estimated at 2,8 billion rubles (about $50 million).
As Construction.RU was told on Tuesday by the press office of the company, the project includes construction of four 20-storey apartment buildings with built-in premises of children's preschool institutions and public facilities.
Apart from that, the project envisages construction of three underground and aboveground parking areas designed for 360 cars, as well as four sports grounds with an area of 1,000 square meters.
Construction of the complex is planned to be carried out in four phases.
