Rosneft, a Russian oil corporation, has commissioned the development of a preliminary feasibility study for the construction of a bitumen plant in the Republic of Chechnya, Russia’s North Caucasus.
As it follows from the documents published today on the website of public procurement, the contract has been concluded with Russian Federation Research Institute of Fishery and Oceanography, which will conduct payments in the period from July 1 to December 31, 2017. The contract is estimated at 8,46 million rubles.
We should remind you that Rosneft plans to build a bitumen plant instead of Grozny oil refinery with a capacity of 1 million tons of oil per year.
