Gazprom, a Russian gas giant, is discussing supplies of Russia’s blue fuel to India, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gazprom Alexander Medvedev said, RIA Novosti news agency reports on Thursday.
Also, Mr. Medvedev does not exclude the use of swap transactions with China and Iran in such deals.
“At present, we are discussing a major project, this is the arrangement of gas supplies to India, including those with the possible use of swap operations with the participation of Russia, China, Iran,” – Medvedev specified.
As a reference, PJSC Gazprom, headquartered in Moscow, carries on the business of extraction, production, transport, and sale of natural gas.
