Russia is ready to grant political asylum to the former head of the FBI, James Komi, in case he is persecuted in the United States in connection with the transfer of data regarding US President’s conversations, Vladimir Putin said over the course of the Direct Line in Moscow.
“Suddenly he said that he had recorded the conversation with the President (of the USA, Donald Trump – editor’s noted), and then, through his friend, handed over that recording to the media. Well, that sounds very strange. When the head of an intelligence service records a conversation with the Supreme Commander, and then another, through his friend, hands it over to the media,” Vladimir Putin said.
According to Russian President, thereby James Comey is no different from Edward Snowden.
