Finnish investors will place up to €2.8 billion in construction of Hanhikivi 1 nuclear power plant construction, according to the head of Fennovoima, a customer company commissioning the construction, Mine Forsstrom.
“Domestic investment will amount up to €2.8 billion, which is a great opportunity for Finish companies,” Mine Forsstrom said at 2017 ATOMEXPO show. She specified that before the start of construction, until 2018, the investment would total €500 million, while a total amount of investment in the project was up to €7 billion.
As it was reported earlier, Russia will make investments in the project in the amount of €2,4 billion. Apart from that, the funds from export credit agencies are planned to be raised.
