Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation will use a technology of Dutch company Lagerwey for wind turbines manufacture.

The corresponding licensing agreement on the technology transfer was signed between Lagerwey and OTEK, a company affiliated with Rosatom, over the course of a forum 2017 ATOMEXPO.

This document confirms the parties’ obligations to implement OTEK’s program, including a requirement for the localization of production in the volume of over 65%. Lagerwey sets to localize in Russia the production of wind turbines components.

After the license agreement is concluded, a joint venture will be established, which is expected to be announced in summer of 2017.

As it was previously reported, VetroOGK, a Rosatom’s company, has become the winner of a tender for wind power projects in 2016.
