Jewish community gets historic synagogue in Simferopol

The Committee for State Registration and Cadastre of the Crimean Republic assists to the Jewish community in the registration of ownership of a synagogue’s land and building located in the center of Simferopol.




Earlier, the regional national and cultural autonomy of Jews, have filed a corresponding request to this registration authority, the Ministry’s press office reports on Monday.

“We put a particular emphasis on dealing with problems of religious communities and are ready to provide all possible assistance in the registration of rights in respect of land and buildings located on it, after a required list of documents is submitted,” the message quotes the Committee’s head, Alexander Spiridonov.

Ner Tamid synagogue in Simferopol was built in late XIX century and is an object of cultural heritage of regional significance.
