Nikolay Shulginov, the head of RusHydro, the world's second largest hydroelectric power producer based in Russia, admits the company's participation in tenders for construction of wind power generation facilities.
He made this statement speaking to reporters on Monday.
“Theoretically, we are considering such a possibility in the future, and we know such sites where the participation is possible. Let's see what tenders will follow,” he said.
The head of RusHydro explained that, at the moment, the company did not have plans for the participation in a tender for construction of wind power generation plants under the power provision contracts in the first and second pricing zones.
“We have no specific plans,” – he noted.
