The largest casino in Europe is planned to be built in Cyprus, the corresponding agreement was signed by the country’s government and a consortium of three companies.
A total amount of investments in the project will exceed half a million dollars.
It is noteworthy four years have gone since a decision on the construction was taken. In March 2013, Cyprus considered the establishment of Europe’s largest casino a way to overcome effects of the financial crisis.
The casino will become a center of an integrated resort and will have four “satellite casinos” in Nicosia, Larnaca, Famagusta and Paphos. It is expected that there will be 136 gaming tables and 1,200 slot machines in the casino.
