China is building new launchers for missiles and domes for radars, as well as communication points on the reefs of Fiery Cross, Mischief and Subie in the Spratly Islands of the South China Sea.

This conclusion was made by the research center of the Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative, which is part of the Washington Center for Strategic and International Studies, on the basis of new satellite images.

On Fiery Cross Reefs, four more launchers for rockets have been added to the existing eight ones. On the reefs of Mischief and Subie, there are eight on each one. In February, Reuters reported that China was close to completing the construction of building for long-range ground – air missiles.
