A powerful waste sorting plant with a capacity of 20,000 cubic meters per year will be established in the Irkutsk region, Russia.




As Construction.RU was told by the press office of the regional government, the plant will be located in the Bolsherechensky and Listvyansky districts. It will consist of a facility recycling solid household waste and waste transfer station.

The projected capacity is estimated at 20,000 cubic meters per year.

At present, two illegal landfills with an area of 1,5 hectares and 4,500 accumulated waste are registered in the territory of the Bolsherechensky district. In the Listvyansky district, three landfills with a total area of 1,6 hectares are currently operating.
