The volume of investments in the territories recently adjoined to the capital city of Russia, a so-called New Moscow, has amounted to 870 billion rubles ($14,7 billion) for a five-year period, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for urban policy and construction Marat Khusnullin told reporters.

“Out of these, the share of the city amounted to about 10-15%”, he noted, adding that such statistics meant that New Moscow was first of all a huge investment project.

According to Marat Khusnullin, within the framework of the development of the adjoined territories, a significant focus was placed on the development of transport infrastructure, as well as the creation of jobs, the number of which has increased by 100 during this time
