PJSC Sukhoi aviation holding company announced a request for proposals for pre-qualification selection of a general contractor, Interfax news agency reports on Monday.
The contractor will have to carry out works on reconstruction and technical re-equipment of the production capacities for the manufacture of an air inlet, engine nacelle and a wing’s swivel block at the Novosibirsk aircraft plant n.a Chkalov (incorporated in Sukhoi Group).
As it follows from the documentation published on the procurement website, the initial (maximum) price of the contract amounts to 1,5 billion rubles ($25,4 million) with VAT.
The contract’s executor will have until the end of 2020 to complete the construction of workshops and part of chemical milling and deep etching.
As a reference, PJSC Sukhoi, founded in 1939, is a major Russian aircraft manufacturer, headquartered in Moscow. The company is engaged in designing of both civilian and military aircraft.
