The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia has satisfied a motion submitted by Gazprom gas holding to purchase a 25-precent stake in Evrotek-Yugra, which is a subsidiary of the Spanish Repsol in the Khanty-Mansi autonomous district in Russia, the agency’s press office reports on Monday.
The motion to purchase 25% of Evrotek-Yugra company by Gazprom Neft was submitted to Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service on May 26.
In May 2014, the Ministry of Natural Resources announced the opening of two new hydrocarbon deposits, with total recoverable reserves amounting to 48 million tons of conditional fuel. One of them is Orlinskoye field located at the junction of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous district and the Sverdlovsk region. It was discovered by Evrotek-Yugra.
