On Monday, gusty winds and hail fell trees and interrupted wire power lines in Aktobe, the administrative center of the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan, Interfax news agency reports.
According to the agency’s correspondent, a strong wind was raging not more than 10 minutes.
As a result, two construction crane collapsed in the Batys-2 distrcit. One of them brought down balconies on the 6th, 7th and 8th floors of a multistory building located nearby. At present, the area of the incident is cordoned off.
In another part of the same neighborhood, a construction crane fell on a still vacant new home.
Meanwhile, as the press office of the regional Internal Affairs Department told Interfax news agency, at the moment, the police has no reports about casualties.
