Hungary has expressed its interest in considering the possibility of continued supplies of natural gas from the Russian Federation after 2019.
This is what Chairman of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation and the Health Minister of Russia, Veronika Skvortsova, said at the commission’s session, Rambler News reports on Tuesday.
“Mutually beneficial is the cooperation in the field of supplies of Russian natural gas to Hungary under long-term contracts until the end of 2019. The Hungarian party has expressed interest in reviewing the prospects of further cooperation in this area after 2019 as well,” she said.
Skvortsova noted that the Russian party hopes to conduct constructive negotiations on that issue.
