NIPIGasPererabotka, a Russian gas processing research and design institute incorporated in SIBUR Group, and China Gezhouba Group Corporation (CGGC) signed a contract for construction of Amur gas processing plant in Russia.
The Chinese company undertakes the performance of construction activities and installation of a facility for gas cryogenic separation at Amur gas processing plant, Gazprom reports on Tuesday.
The document was signed by Chairman of Board of SIBUR, Dmitry Konov, while Vice President of CGGC Chen Xiaohua acted on behalf of the Chinese party.
Under the contract, CGGC is a contractor carrying out the specified works. Also, a Russian construction company will be attracted as a primary subcontractor.
As a reference, Amur gas processing plant will be the largest in Russia and one of the world's biggest enterprises for processing of natural gas.
