The government of the Moscow region is looking forward to working with Chinese companies in the creation of a transport hub in the town of Domodedovo, Deputy Chairman of the regional government Denis Butsaev said on Wednesday.
“One of the largest projects for a rail transport hub is being implemented in the territory of Domodedovo, together with Kazakh and Chinese partners within the framework of a general project of Big Silk Road. (...) At the moment, our colleagues have fulfilled all preconditions for the start of the project,” Denis Butsaev told reporters after a meeting of Governor of the Moscow region Andrei Vorobyov with the Chinese delegation.
Mr. Butsaev noted that Chinese companies could join the project in terms of infrastructure, adding that a special economic zone was planned to be established in Domodedovo.
