An automobile industrial platform is planned to be established in the industrial zone of the Moscow Automotive Society – Likhachov Plant (ZiL), a major Russian automobile, truck and military vehicle manufacturer.
Ten thousand jobs are expected to be created at the enterprise.
These ambitious plans were unveiled on Thursday by first deputy head of the Moscow Department for Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship, Alexey Artyomov, over the course of the Moscow Urban Forum.
At the same time, he stressed that the initiative had already been approved and a corresponding decree adopted by the Moscow government.
Apart from that, a number of innovation technology parks are planned to be merged in the region.
