Gazprom International, a specialized operator of Gazprom’s projects abroad, and Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), a Pakistani national oil and gas company, have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation, the Russian company’s report said.
According to Gazprom, the memorandum serves as a basis for the development of cooperation between the companies in the energy sector and identifies key areas of joint work.
In particular, the sides agreed to develop projects in the field of exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons in Pakistan and third countries, to explore the possibilities of gas supplies to the Republic and other states in the region and to discuss other initiatives of mutual interest. In addition, the companies plan to implement and use modern technologies in the field of oil and gas production, provide mutual technical assistance for the development of remote and marginal fields and integrated drilling services.
