Chocolette Confectionary plans to invest more than 10 million euro until the end of 2017 in the construction of a chocolate factory in the Latvian town of Jelgava.
The project is implemented by Cyprus-registered company Mediahold SBC Limited. According to a director for business development at Chocolette Confectionary, Guntars Dzerve, this amount also includes the cost of product development, the acquisition and installation of equipment.
The facility’s construction is carried out in an industrial park located on the premises of former a factory of Rigas Autobusu Fabrika, which had been engaged in the manufacture of minibuses until 1997.
LLC Chocolette Confectionary was established in May 2016 with a share capital of €3 million.
